Freiplatzmelde.de has been an internet platform for providers and clients of social services since 2011. The platform is aimed in particular at specialists from the areas of: independent providers, public providers, authorities, youth welfare offices, social welfare offices, etc. The online portal works independently and non-politically.

On this online portal, social institutions present their offers according to SGB VIII (help for children, young people and families) as well as offers according to SGB IX (help for people with disabilities, formerly SGB XII) and publish the currently free capacities. The facilities independently and continuously update the content and capacity information.

Since 2022, the offer has been supplemented by a job exchange with the fields of child, youth and family welfare as well as with people with disabilities.

This project was developed by social pedagogues from independent organizations and employees of the Berlin youth welfare offices with the aim of creating added value and providing an instrument that makes work easier. The project has been online since 2011. After the pilot phase in the Berlin and Brandenburg region, the portal has established itself as a helpful working tool
