This is an outstanding opportunity to be part of an innovative new online learning service that Pearson has launched in the UK. Working in partnership with universities across the UK, the division provides online learning services including marketing, student recruitment, course content development, training and ongoing student support and retention. The team is currently going through a period of unprecedented growth due to a surge in demand for online learning and the recent launch of www.uklearns.com, a marketplace for a broad selection of high quality, career-focused online learning offerings.
The role is responsible for leading the provision of excellent consultative sales activity and service to prospective students to achieve new student recruitment targets for select university partners. This includes working closely with Partnership Marketing Managers on strategic planning and tactical activity implementation to achieve enrolment targets. This includes overseeing the direction of a team of Recruitment Managers, Team Leaders, Enrolment Advisors, Enrolment Assistants and Admissions Officers including KPI performance.
Your Key Responsibilities
Direction and development of select partnerships for Recruitment including a team of managers and inside sales/enrolment advisors.
Utilising the support of the Training & Quality Assurance Manager this includes the monitoring of activity levels, consultation calls, contact plans, funnel progression and time management, CRM usage and achievement of enrolment targets.
Responsibility for the creation and implementation of recruitment activity plans for select programmes to achieve annual and per intake enrolment targets.
In collaboration with Partnership Marketing Managers, responsibility for the ongoing tracking of performance against enrolment targets including the implementation of corrective or improved actions where appropriate.
Our Successful Candidate
We welcome applicants with extensive B2C sales/funnel management experience including inside/telephony and consultative sales. We are looking for experience working within the higher education/learning or similar sector type, including B2C models (service or content-based offering). You’ll bring excellent communication skills and extensive experience in stakeholder management, internally and externally. Key to success in this role is relationship-building: in particular with customers/prospective students, employers, professional bodies and commercial partners. You’ll demonstrate strong networking and influencing skills, externally and internally - including working effectively with colleagues in Pearson across different locations and within a matrix structure.
This role is suitable for an established sales leader with experience in building and growing a pipeline, delivering improved KPI’s over time. It’s a great opportunity for a professional that is comfortable working in an agile environment, with great time management and organisation skills and using your own initiative in decision-making and strategy.
