Be a part of Boeing Global Services\' Training & Professional Services (T&PS) team that is at the leading edge of flight safety, flight training, and flight operations. As a Senior Product Manager Training Program Optimization for Digital Training Solutions, you will have the opportunity to work with professionals from across the industry and positively affect safety and operations of Boeing flight operations and that of our customers, world-wide.  In this highly visible position you will interact with pilots, managers, regulators, executives, peers, supporting team personnel, and Subject Matter Experts. 

This is a hybrid position that allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Drive the development of new digital training analytics products
  • Relentlessly push to understand customer needs and ensure customer is considered in prioritization and trade-off discussions
  • Collaborate with teammates across BGS, BCA, Training Solutions, T&BE, Enterprise Safety, Marketing, Sales, BR&T, IT, SM, IPM, DS&A, Corporate Strategy and beyond to bring new products to market
  • Drive make/buy/partner analysis and decisions to create a holistic solution that creates the most value for our customers and Boeing
  • Set product vision and lead road mapping, goal setting, story writing, project execution, A/B testing, and product roll-out strategy
  • Identify unmet needs and disruption opportunities and guide interdisciplinary teams to deliver innovative products to market.
  • Defines product statements of work and collaborates with architects to define technical statements of work
  • Test and iterate in small-scale pilots to validate concepts, refine them to achieve product-market fit, and then scale to drive vertical and horizontal economics
  • Define learning agenda and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success/failure
  • Regularly and systematically use data to uncover opportunities, track product performance, and drive decision making
  • Leads, coaches, and mentors multi-functional teams through rigorous processes and learn with focus on developing Proof of Concepts (POC)s and minimum viable product (MVP)
  • Prioritize, negotiate and remove blockers to orchestrate successful launch and optimization cycle
  • Defines Customer Advisory Board needs in order to enable product design, development, and deployment to airlines
  • Collaborates with external airlines and internal organizations for product deployments
  • Establish or participate in Design Thinking, Scaled Agile, and LEAN rituals which establish rhythm for the team, promote ongoing communication, and iterative refinement of roadmaps

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering or related discipline
  • 3+ years of experience in a software development environment
  • 3+ years of experience with digital product management
  • 3+ years of experience leading projects in a collaborative multi-disciplinary team including designers, engineers, writers, product managers and software developers
  • 3+  years of experience with Product Lifecycle (development, deployment, modification and support
  • 1+ years of education and/or work experience meeting with end-users/customers to determine software use cases and requirements

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience in leadership either formally or informally leading teams in a cross-functional environment Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
  • Experience collaborating across functions and organizational levels
  • 1+ years of experience defining vision, strategy, and outcome-driven product roadmaps
  • 1+ years of experience as a data scientist, data analyst or data engineer
  • Experience with data analytics products

Typical Education/ Experience:  Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years\' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years\' related work experience, Master+7 years\' related work experience, 13 years\' related work experience, etc.)

Relocation:

This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation.  Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Pay range summary: $93,000 – $165,000
