Individuals assigned to the Gardener position are responsible for providing on-going landscape maintenance for the Disneyland® Resort properties and completing work in a safe and efficient manner.

Basic Qualifications:

Schedule Availability

• Availability to work Sunday through Saturday, any shift (1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift) including holidays, and must be open to any days off

Qualifications

• Previous experience performing daily and routine landscape maintenance including, but not limited to soil and planter preparation, planting, spent-flower removal, pruning, monitoring general plant health and proper irrigation.
• Casual gardening and maintenance for neighbors or one’s own home yard is not sufficient.

Additional Information!:

The pay rate for this role in California is $22.35 to $30.20 per hour. The base pay actually offered follows the minimum wage from the pay scale agreed upon in the applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement and may also vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.

Those assigned to the Gardener position are required to attend an annual Hearing Conservation Training class. They are also required to submit to an annual audiometric exam.
