About the Rights and Royalties team

The Rights & Royalties teams have recently undergone significant transformation in both core systems, as well as the location and scale of the operational support teams. However, the group’s main objective continues to be the production of financially accurate and timely royalty statements.

About the job

We are currently recruiting for a Royalties Business Process Analyst to join our growing Global Rights & Royalties Program Management team. In this role, you will be responsible for documenting the department business processes and workflows, with the added objective of finding out how they can be improved or automated.

As our Royalties Business Process Analyst, you will need to hit the ground running in a fast paced & complex environment to ensure that current departmental procedures are fully updated, documented & saved in a central & available repository.

To be successful in this role, you will have excellent communication skills and stakeholder management, acute attention to detail and be able to produce documentation to an exceptional standard.

You will be responsible for:

  • Working closely with respective team members in Global Rights & Royalties to identify and analyze core business processes and workflows

  • Facilitating workshops that involve eliciting process requirements & liaising with team members

  • Documentation of process and work flows in agreed templates

  • Development of clear and detailed process maps and business requirements

  • Identifying issues and risks

  • Obtaining departmental sign-off on all process documentation

The role will report to the Director of Program Management for Global Rights & Royalties Lead

About you:

  • Demonstrable experience as a Business Analyst, working on large & complex programs.

  • Ability to absorb large amounts of complex information and simplify communication depending on audience (Business / Technology / Leadership)

  • Strong skills in process mapping & business process reengineering

  • Experience facilitating workshops & focus groups

  • Strong business / client engagement skills

  • Experience developing instructional & procedural documentation & presentations

  • High level of competence with MS Office & Lucid Chart
