You will be involved in analyzing customer requirements, articulating the right customer experience, performing industry research, ensuring the delivery of high-quality specifications, and driving feature delivery. Should have a Computer Science or related degree, plus a minimum of 12-year experience in driving initiatives focused on designing and delivering enterprise-class solutions, as well as familiarity with Microsoft Cloud, .NET technologies (C# and the .NET Framework) and/or competitive offerings (e.g. J2EE, WebLogic or WebSphere). Candidates should have previous experience with multiple product release cycles and should have at least 2 years of experience managing a team.

• Defines product vision and strategy, leveraging deep understanding of the customer experience and competitive market. 
• Building consensus on product strategy/vison across all functions and aligns with internal/external partners to achieve defined goals and vision for product/ service feature area(s) 
• Engaging customers to capture feedback, develop insights, evangelize and educate
• Partner with Business stakeholders, End users, Enterprise Architecture, SWE in analyzing requirements, analyzing impacts, proposing designs, fleshing these out to detailed designs, and finally driving the designs to completion through Feature Team
• Ensures that feature areas deliver the expected value to the customer and business objectives to Microsoft
• Applies a strategic understanding of the timing and rationale for design choices for feature areas
• Engage with business process units and work closely with upstream and downstream application owners to effectively build a ‘trusted advisor’ relationship with these teams through consistent on-time, on–budget delivery
• Own E2E delivery of the product or service from ideation to Prod Deployment
• Defines the design iteration process for the team or organization, and leads improvements over successive releases
• Use data insights, analyze the trends and data to prioritize the backlog, recommend options to reduce cycle time and simplify the system
• Overcomes obstacles by resolving issues, regardless of team boundaries, and identifies and resolves teamwork issues

Build cross-team coordination and a community with other engineers relating to challenges & opportunities in the areas of app to app and business to business integrations

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of IT/Product Engineering experience, 7 years of core software engineering experience, and 5+ years’ operating in a complex, multi-system environment or an online service space
• Experience with shipping at least 2 full product releases, from release inception through live site support
• Excellent project management skills and extensive IT project management experience with complex projects, with a track record of successful launches on time and within budget
• Past programming experience in Microsoft technologies –or- programming/customization experience
• Excellent communication, client relationship skills, and customer experience focus
• Demonstrated passion for quality and attention to detail
• Effective time management in complex situations
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build positive working relationships across groups and all management levels
• Ability to effectively deal with ambiguous situations
• Ability to effectively communicate using multiple medias to present ideas
• Ability to impact and influence

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience/background in Cloud and Mobile technologies
• Hands-on working knowledge of SQL and Data Analysis
• .NET programming experience
• High degree of professionalism, especially when faced with critical and intense situations
• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, MIS, engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
