Job Description:

Hobby School is looking for a candidate to fill in the position of Primary school teacher (Grades 1-5, 6-10 yo). The teacher will work under the guidance of the Dean of Academic Affairs. This is a full-time position and the teachers will have a maximum of 25 instructional hours per week.

The primary school teacher position is a challenging, yet very rewarding task as the teacher will have to work with kids who don't speak English /1st grade/ as well as kids who already speak the language, though at various levels of proficiency /2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th grades. Class preparation is required, as well as giving and checking homework. 

Because of the nature of the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) program followed by Hobby School, the teacher will work closely with other primary school teachers (international and local alike), and good teamwork skills and creativity are therefore of paramount importance.

He or she will also participate in extracurricular activities at the school, such as preparation for an annual English Olympiad, ABC festival, Spring and Drama festivals, different quizzes, and competitions.
