Main purpose/objectives of role:
Reporting to the Pensions Systems Analyst, as part of the multi-disciplined team looking after 27,000 members with over £4bn worth of pension liabilities, dealing with all administrative responsibilities of The Pension Plan.
Main activities/responsibilities:
Support the systems team with day to day management, support, maintenance and development of POII administration system
Help design solutions to systems, data and process issues and help deliver opportunities to develop the POII administration system
Support systems testing for new releases or developments made to the POII administration system
Support requests for information, new reports, extracts and database changes (including changes to letters) from the POII administration system
Support the Plan’s proactive approach to data cleansing by investigating missing data or validating existing data
Undertaking various monthly tasks to maintain data accuracy on the POII administration system and deliver these to an agreed timetable
Supporting the administration team as required by assisting with member queries, logging and scanning of enquiries or monthly data updates such as joiners and leavers
To carry out ad hoc duties as and when required.
Qualifications
Qualifications, skills and experience:
Must be highly motivated keen to learn and someone who takes a positive/flexible approach to their workload.
A high degree of accuracy combined with an ability to work to deadlines.
A diligent but fast worker who is able to effectively manage workload and be able to work effectively on their own when required.
Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Word.
Experience of POII administration system is desired but not essential
