About the job
We are looking for a positive, creative and data-driven Marketing Campaign Executive to join our Schools Marketing Team. This is a varied marketing role that requires a proactive, well-organised individual able to execute marketing campaigns in a fast-paced environment with support from Marketing Campaign Manager.
Key Accountabilities
Campaign planning and execution
Implement customer-focused multi-channel digital marketing campaigns to drive growth and retention business goals and deliver effective ROMI, with support from a Marketing Campaign Manager.
Work with the search specialist, create & activate PPC strategies to help achieve forecasted campaign goals with a test-and-learn approach.
Support the defining of lead journeys for customer segments, and create lead management and lead nurturing tactics to convert into qualified leads and purchasers.
Analyse and report on campaigns to inform continual optimisation and present business opportunities.
Execute end-to-end campaigns through all phases of the campaign lifecycle, including some creative development, audience segmentation and targeting, campaign execution, tracking response, follow up, reporting, etc using the full marketing mix, delivering all marketing activities to the highest quality, on time, within budget and meeting campaign KPIs and goals.
Recommend performance optimisations of PPC, paid social and affiliate campaigns while being confident to make changes.
Marketing Content
Support the production of high-quality marketing content, in all its forms for all channels (sales presentations, website, letters, subject guides, white papers, video, infographics, blogs, podcasts, social posts, PR, events etc.), and for all stages of the customer journey, to maximize campaign effectiveness
Ad copy and feed optimisations alongside agencies.
Budget and quality
Delivering all marketing activities to the highest quality, on time, within budget and meeting campaign KPIs and goals.
Manage budget and reporting for performance marketing
Messaging and Tone
Develop messaging and stories around customer need/problem to be solved, using customer insights and with support from the Marketing Campaign Manager
Implement these messaging and stories in campaign activity
Customer Experience
Execute marketing campaigns to nurture and manage existing customers, driving up adoption, revenue and retention, and providing a superior customer experience aimed at improving customer engagement and long-term relationship with Pearson
Deliver to high-quality standards and ensure excellent execution that offers a great customer experience
Matrix working
Collaborate with other marketing colleagues where projects may overlap, ensuring a clear consistent voice
Work closely with key internal teams, including sales, product and digital teams, to align performance marketing KPIs with wider business and campaign objectives.
From time to time, engage in special projects and tasks that go beyond the remit of the role
Qualifications
Our Successful Candidate
Driving marketing success from customer insights.
Campaign management experience, including some budget management and ROI analysis.
Good communication and networking skills with a strong sense of teamwork and an ability to deal with a wide range of stakeholders.
Ability to manage and prioritise multiple campaigns and projects at once.
Experience and an understanding of marketing automation tools.
The ability to execute campaigns at tactical and detailed levels.
A passion for customer experience - reviewing products, customers and market dynamics and aligning these to connect the right prospect to the right product or service.
Some experience of multi-channel campaign management across digital and offline channels (print, DM, email, social, telesales, sales, websites, SEM/PPC, SEO, display, etc)
Good organisational skills and project management skills
Results-driven with the energy and resilience to make things happen
Commercial mindset
Some campaign execution experience is required
Able to seek support from managers in an effective and timely manner
Additional Information
This is hybrid role with a mix of office (Oxford) and remote working, flexible in line with individual circumstances
