We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated lawyer with strong litigation or regulatory experience who would thrive on solving novel and complex data protection compliance and privacy questions for our Amazon Advertising business. Amazon Advertising offers a rich array of advertising solutions with the goal of helping our customers find and discover anything they want to buy. Lawyers are trusted members of the business, and you will work directly with product and policy teams to advise on the data protection and privacy aspects of Amazon Advertising products. You will partner closely with commercial lawyers supporting the Amazon Advertising business, to work backwards from our customers on these topics. You will also partner closely with the European data protection and privacy legal team, as well as broader litigation and regulatory teams, to advise senior business leaders on pre-litigation and live regulatory matters. You will be an integral part of continuing to build out our existing ad privacy program, to meet the fast-paced evolution of guidance and case law in this space.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Licensed to practice law in Europe, US or other common law jurisdiction.
· 6+ years of legal experience, with experience at a leading law firm or in house.
· Exceptional written and verbal English language skills.
· Sound and practical judgment, even in ambiguous situations, and comfortable making high-quality decisions quickly and with limited information.
· Ability to work independently and contribute successfully to cross-functional, global team.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through and meet deadlines.
