Main purpose of the role

Teaching German to middle school and high school students.

Key responsibilities

• Use and develop the existing resources to teach German in the 1er cycle, Secondary school from A1 to B1 level.
• Prepare students to take the IB Diploma and IGCSE.
  

Skills and Competencies

• University Degree in German or related subject
• Teaching qualification
• Teaching experience
• Good rapport with students
• Good organizational skills
• ICT literacy, both with educational tools and mainstream software
• Good knowledge of English and French
• Good communication skills
• Must be able to work as part of a team and independently
• Ability to work to tight deadlines.
  

It is important that the post holder is always aware of Child Protection guidelines and observes a professional distance from students whilst still developing effective working and caring relationships.
