QRS are working on behalf of Peterborough College and are seeking a new GCSE English lecturer to join the amazing, innovative, passionate and high performing GCSE English team on a part-time permanent basis.  This post requires the post holder to deliver GCSE English to a range of age groups, mostly those between the ages of 16-18. You will join a high performing, supportive team of 35 lecturers who deliver Maths and English at Peterborough College. You will need to work well individually as well as part of a team, and you should be passionate about working with learners to develop their skills. We are looking for a hardworking, committed and reliable individual to join the team.  You will be a self-starter, who can quickly develop a good rapport with a variety of people.

 

The successful candidate will demonstrate the qualities to deliver innovative and creative teaching to those retaking their GCSE within the FE College.  This is an ideal opportunity for new graduates to develop a career in education, or experienced teachers who will bring knowledge of delivering this subject to a high standard.  A high standard of English is essential, with a degree in an English related discipline desirable and a Level 2 in Maths.
