Enrollment Operations Specialist, Family Engagement

Over the past decade, Success Academy has grown faster than any charter network in the nation, building a vibrant network of 47 elementary, middle and high schools. Our ~20,000 children - mostly poor and minority - are out-performing students at top city and suburban schools across New York State. Our goals for our second decade are even more ambitious: to grow to 100 schools and to educate 50,000 children across New York City in a uniquely holistic pre-K-12 system, bringing transformational change here and across the country. At 100 schools, we will graduate 3,000 scholars each year who are prepared to enter, persist and graduate from college and eventually to lead in business, government and civic realms.

In support of these goals, Success Academy has formed a network-based Family Engagement capability to optimize and scale how we recruit prospective families and increase the yield of those who accept, enroll in, and attend our schools. We believe that this requires us to continuously and consistently delight, inform, and invest parents beginning with their very first interaction, establishing Success Academy as the premier choice for families with children entering Kindergarten and throughout their educational journey.

Success Academy seeks an Enrollment Operations Specialist to join this new Family Engagement Team. Reporting to the Application Management Lead and working closely with constituents within the Family Engagement team, the Enrollment Operations Specialist will maintain the application database in support of our scaling goals, and support its integration with the lottery process.

Specifically, the Enrollment Operations Specialist will:

• Ensure that the application database contains complete and accurate data by designing efficient processes for auditing and cleaning applicant records

• Partner with the Family Engagement team leads to implement processes that will solicit “intent-to-enroll” data from applied families

• Coordinate across the Family Engagement team as well as with external stakeholders (Marketing, Communications) to optimize family outreach efforts by maintaining contact lists and managing email and SMS platforms, and ensuring that data obtained through these activities is reflected within the database

• Develop and conduct training for new hires on some of the features of the enrollment database, CRM platform, and Qualtrics for recurring analytics tasks

• Build out user views in native dashboard reporting in new enrollment database, CRM, and telephony applications by gathering requirements, soliciting user stories, seeking decision maker input and feedback

Requirements:

• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets

• Bachelor's degree

• 1+ years of experience in customer service outreach and/or CRM
