Responsabilities
- Sales (up to 50%)
- Review sales targets and performance of each door and then focus on top doors on a monthly basis with Area Sales
Manager (ASM)
- Analyze performance of business vs. sales objectives, shop trend and competition
- Generate sales reports
- Ensure brand and counter image as well as visual merchandising are in line with brand standards and philosophy
- Coordinate and execute the setup of all promotions and all in-store programs and activities
- Monitor and identify marketing potential for new and existing products
- Provide feedback on marketing opportunities, store and competitor activities and identify
marketing potential for new and existing products
- Provide input for product ordering, product mix and assortment
- Resolve stock issues and coordinate with retailers and warehouse to solve problems
- Raise no-charge product orders
- Ensure Consultants are aware of the marketing and promotional calendar, marketing, VM and sales support available each month
- Monthly meetings for top doors
- Give direction and specific instructions to Consultants on how to do their jobs to achieve their sales goals (can be individually addressed depending on each Consultants’ strengths and weaknesses)
- Assist ASM in the recruitment of Consultants and ensure sufficient staffing coverage for the counters
- Place orders for uniforms of Consultants, as well as handle staff purchase orders
- Ensure Consultants abide by Brand’s Clean and Simple Grooming Guidelines
- Evaluate the performance of Consultants monthly through Brand’s TR key performance indicator
(KPI) and to work closely with the Education Managers to develop and take the necessary action steps to improve performance
- Develop strong working relationships with key store personnel and generic staff to ensure Brand’s is on their list of priorities
- Counter Coaching (10% minimum)
- Conduct Consultants / generic staff of C doors
- Orientation / Classroom training (10%minimum)
- Conduct on-counter or off-site orientation and elementary product training for new Consultants in C (or B) doors (before the formal training is organized by the Education Managers)
- Coordinate with Affiliate or Education Manager for IAC training of new hires
- Conduct generic staff training in C (or B) doors
Qualifications
- Diploma in Business Administration with a minimum of 3 years’ working experience or a general degree with a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience, preferably in the travel retail industry
- Well-groomed
- Good organization and communication skills
- Good presentation skills
- Proficient in MS Office and Excel
- Willingness to travel
- Proven sales track record
- Bilingual in Mandarin and English (2nd language is an asset)
