Acquisition Logistician
Location: Aberdeen, MD
Qualis Corporation is seeking an Acquisition Logistician (Integrated Logistics Support Specialist III) to support Product Manager (PM) Aerial Enhanced Radar, Optics, and Sensors (AEROS). PM AEROS develops, acquires, fields, and supplies life cycle support to tactically relevant Aerial Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (AISR) sensors that maintain battlespace awareness, enabling rapid situational understanding and integrated operations for United States (US) Warfighters in the US Central Command (CENTCOM), Pacific Command (PACOM), Africa Command (AFRICOM), European Command (EUCOM) Areas of Responsibility (AORs) and other locations, as required
Primary duties will include (but not limited to):
Prepare, coordinate, update, and manage logistics documents for product upgrades and reviews, to include but not limited to the Life Cycle Logistics Plan, Product Support Strategy, Product Support Plan, Level of Repair Analysis, Core Depot Assessment, and Business Case Analysis.
Coordinate the development and selection of logistics support alternatives for proposed system/component design.
Participate in the preparation of a maintainability plan and conduct of maintainability demonstration; review prototype models, drawings, and engineering designs, and make recommendations concerning ease of maintenance of materiel.
Assure Army requirements and documents for authorization and fielding (BOIP feeder data, ASIOE assignment, Total Package Fielding planning, Provisioning, MAC, etc.) are met.
Develop and provide and input data to designers concerning proposed maintainability and reliability objectives for new materiel being developed.
Support the Integrated Product Support Elements (IPSE) planning and implementation to include maintenance plan, supply support, support and test equipment, transportation and handling, technical data, facilities, personnel and training, logistic resource funds, supply support plans, provisioning plan, admin, depot maintenance support plan, material fielding plan and logistics management information (LMI). Responsible for maintenance planning, manpower and personnel, supply support, support equipment, technical data, training and training support, computer resources support, facilities, and packaging, handling, storage, and transportation.
Track and manage systems and repair parts supporting CONUS/OCONUS missions.
Update, when required, deployment readiness trackers and reports with the number of assets on mission.
Coordinate with other organizations for the planning, implementing, and support of systems.
Participate on or chairs Integrated Product Teams.
Represent program in meetings and discussions with the development contractor or agency, other organizations/activities, and other Services.
Conduct inventories to ensure 100% accountability of assets and participate in Care of Supplies in Storage activities.
Maintain continuous liaison with research, engineering, production, and field personnel to influence design to insure optimum support after the systems are fielded.
Direct the development of the system support package for testing, participating in the overall test program and reviews results of developmental and operational tests.
Review and furnish information to stakeholders (upon approval) concerning the support of equipment procured and utilized by the program offices.
Requested shipping cost analyst and submit Army Funds Verification & Use Authorization request (FVUA) for shipments CONUS/OCONUS
Generate Overseas Contingency Operations (OCO) Transportation Funds requests forms for CONUS/OCONUS thru PEOIEW&S and Headquarters Department of the Army (HQDA) G-4
Coordinated with Transportation Movement Office (TMO) ensuring Transportation Control Number-s (TCN) arrive at final requested destinations.
Projected, budgeted, requested, and tracked Line of Accounts (LOA) for Transportation Account Code-s (TAC) CONUS shipments.
Conduct 100% accountability inventories listed on the Hand Receipt.
Participate in Care of Supplies in Storage activities (COSIS) with the customer.
Request funding, Order, and Track, manage repair parts lists, and Delivery Orders.
Manage/analyze Consumed Parts lists and inventory Government Furnished Equipment (GFE)
Represents Program at Program Management Review-s (PMR), meetings, discussions, Analysis of Product Support Alternatives (APSA-s), with the vendor, other organizations, and other Services.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor degree.
A minimum of six (6) years of recent fulltime logistics experience in industry or Government supporting manufacturing, repair, upgrade, and refurbishment of equipment. Additional experience with logistics integration requirements as applied to weapon systems is preferred.
Experience in preparing/editing DOD technical documents as well as availability and maintainability (RAM) analysis of complex mechanical and electronics systems/equipment.
Experience applying Product Support Analysis consistent with MIL-HDBK 502A.
Experience managing all 12 of the Integrated Product Support elements.
Experience in Technical Manual development.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
