Qualifications for English Teacher

Minimum 2 years of experience teaching English Language.Must be from an English medium background (O/A Levels).Candidates must have proper knowledge of English Language CAIE Syllabus of both O & A levelLong-term commitment towards the institution. Comfortable working with students of different levels.The candidate should have excellent skills in both spoken and written English.Must be able to work well in a team. Willing to do all the works assigned by the section management and School Management.Great grammar knowledge.Knowledge about great works of literature. Responsibilities for English TeacherCreate lesson plans for students and reviews lesson plans for the week and ensures that the classroom is prepared for the needs of the lesson plans. Grade student essays and tests/exams.Provide general instruction and guidance to students and create a classroom environment conducive to learning and education.Write progress reports for students.Create tests/exam papers for students.Assign essays and homework to students .Assign books for students to read.Comfortable conducting meetings with parents to review a student's progress and student performance.Helping pupils improve their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills via individual and group sessions Additional  Requirements:Must be experienced in teaching English for O & A Levels.CAIE Training and Experienced in teaching O & A levels will be given preferences.Sound teaching experience of O & A Level English is required.Must be dedicated and punctual.Should be active, willing to work under pressure and within short deadline.Training on teaching-methodology and technique will be an added advantage
