As an Employment Lawyer at British Airways, you will use your specialist knowledge to provide practical, commercially orientated legal advice and support to all areas of our business. Handling a wide variety of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters, we will look to you to provide legally sound solutions, whilst remaining conscious always of the operational needs of the business. You will advise directly on UK employment law and separately manage legal advice concerning many different worldwide jurisdictions, liaising with overseas counsel where required.  

You will be experienced in advising stakeholders at all levels, including senior management, and able to do so in a confident, measured, and authoritative way. 

Given the size and scale of British Airways’ business, you will advise on all aspects of employment law. In particular, you should be experienced with all aspects of employment tribunal litigation, TUPE, redundancy, unfair dismissal, industrial relations, and all aspects of discrimination law.

The team needs an approachable, personable individual who can be trusted as a go-to advisor on all matters. You should thrive in a challenging sector and work well within a small team. Inhouse experience (including client secondments) is preferred but not essential.
