BU /PRODUCT DESCRIPTON:

BMC Software is an Enterprise Software Company which offers software as a service (SaaS)-based and on-premises software and services in areas including cloud computing, IT service management, automation, IT operations, and mainframe.

BMC Education Services enables BMC customers and partners to quickly and efficiently deploy, use and optimize BMC software. Training and certification is offered in all modern modalities and can be accessed via subscriptions, learning pass credits (LPCs) and per offering.

PRIMARY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITY: 

• You Should be able to create instructor led or web-based training (run on desktops, tablets and mobile devices), training in other modalities, skills assessments and certifications
• You will perform all phases of instructional design including analysis, design, development, and evaluation throughout the program lifecycle to achieve optimal learner-centric training solutions
• You must know how to design, develop, and implement solutions to address specific learning and development needs based on company goals and priorities but also learner roles, responsibilities and skills. Analyze tasks, learners, business, and subject matter for programs identified for use in Learning and Development
• Collaborate with R&D, Product Management, Marketing, and other teams to create high-impact learning solutions
• You have to Work with Education Portfolio managers, Education Project Managers, instructors and other stakeholders to ensure that content, learning objectives, localization and delivery modes meet goals, while matching the appropriate media format, structure, and design needs to the allotted budget.
• You\'ll manage all assigned design solutions from conception to conclusion while working on multiple projects at a time
• You will be responsible to recommend and create content, sequence, and a systems approach to suit situation and learners including face-to-face instruction, micro-learning, eLearning, virtual, social, print, and video to help build an ecosystem for learning.
• Your deliverables might include blended learning materials, manuals, workbooks, job aids, instructor guides, video, /audio scripts, accreditation/assessment/certification exam questions
• Developer will  have to keep self-updated of new software applications and tools to enhance learning
• If you have the Knowledge of BMC products is a plus, especially in the mainframe area

QUALIFICATION:

• Bachelor degree in related field
• Min 2 years in a software or hardware company, preferred software
• 5+ years of Instructional Design experience 

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Experience/knowledge of Learning Design/ adult learning principles
• Technical experience/knowledge in technology-based design/development tools such as Articulate Studio 360, Captivate and Camtesia
• Ability to manage specified projects from initiation through delivery of learning solution
• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
• Outstanding time management and organization skills
