Corporate Responsibility Apprentice 

  

Location: Mornington Crescent, Greater London House, NW1 

Department: Corporate Responsibility, Governance 

Level: Apprentice 

THE ROLE 

As part of the Corporate Responsibility (CR) team at ASOS, you will play an important part of helping with the day to day implementation of ASOS’ Fashion With Integrity (FWI) programme. FWI drives our transparent, responsible and inclusive approach to business. It’s how we work with others to transform the impact of fashion on people, animals and the environment. 

The CR Apprentice will be part of the Corporate Responsibility team and will be involved in all aspects of the team’s daily functions.  This will include supporting our work to become net zero, driving social impact with ASOS Foundation charity partners, and ensuring our product teams uphold our brand protection guidelines. 

The CR Apprentice will work across all of these strands and provide additional support to help with data capture and analysis in relation to impact measurement and engagement levels. 

This is not a routine office job; the CR Apprentice will be working on multiple initiatives that touch upon a number of focus areas that involve internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will be passionate about social and environmental change, and strive to role model ethical behaviour and values. In addition, candidates will have to be organised, ambitious, willing to work outside of their comfort zone, and be detail-orientated while understanding the bigger picture.

You will be…

   

We are seeking a passionate and target-driven candidate to join the ASOS Corporate Responsibility team. The role will involve the following: 

  • Product Support 
  • Corporate Responsibility inbox support: 
  • Responding to queries from the commercial team. 
  • Responding to customer complaints and queries 
  • Facilitating gift card donations  
  • Admin related tasks in Brand Protection 
  • Updating banned lists and training documents with guideline changes and additions 
  • Recording query types and outcomes 
  • Recording monthly jobbed off stock and financials 
  • Content for monthly infringement emails 
  • Policing 
  • Policing of the site for inappropriate product  
  • Checking daily banned list report for banned words being used on site  
  • Policing social for potential issues 

   

Our Community

  • Provide support for the ASOS volunteering programme.  Including sourcing, setting up and managing events for employees to engage with.   
  • Provide assistance with ASOS Foundation internal fundraising campaigns, encouraging take up, monitoring progress and completing reporting. 
  • Event management support in relation to ASOS Foundation external fundraising events.   
  • Fulfil requests for charity product donations from customers/colleagues 
  • Assist with ASOS Foundation administration and reporting, including collating funding evaluations. 

 Sustainability 

  • Support on coordinating recycling/responsible disposal 
  • Support on data collection for Scope 3 emission categories:  
  • Expenses 
  • Business Travel 
  • Refrigerant gases 
  • Water Consumption 
  • Diesel 
  • Working on our internal sustainability initiatives and champion’s scheme: ASOS Earth 
  • Support the management of team finances 
  • Ensuring sustainability internally at events and around the office: e.g. the canteen, the gym, workplace parties, policies for the space, tech, and events teams more broadly on best practice  
  • Coordinate local sustainability projects e.g. Camden Clean Air Alliance and council reporting. 
  • Help administer staff sustainability benefits and work with the PX team.  Collaboration include: Buzzbike, Liftshare, Hello Fresh, Riverford Farms. 
  • Update internal training content
