Job Description

Claims Fraud Intelligence Analyst – Up to £30,800 National

Location: Norwich

Here at Aviva we have an exciting opportunity for someone who’s passionate about fighting fraud to join Aviva’s Claims Fraud Intelligence Team (CFIT) and become a Claims Fraud Intelligence Analyst.

To be successful, we are looking for someone with a background in either insurance, intelligence role or has been in a fraud/crime prevention type role previously.

A bit about the job:

To tackle the rising cost of insurance fraud, Aviva has a dedicated team of experienced handlers who focus on disrupting fraudsters and protecting the innocent customers who fall victim to them.

As a Claims Fraud Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for detecting fraud across our Motor, Casualty and Household products, with a focus on organised fraud.  You will appropriately triage claim referrals from front line handlers whilst also proactively analyse data sets to identify trends of fraudulent behaviour. You will complete desktop intelligence packages prior to referral into our Claims Fraud Investigation Team.

As an intelligence analyst, you will also manage all incoming intelligence from internal and external sources to review, ascertain risk and disseminate to key stakeholders across the business.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Fraud intelligence handling in General Insurance (Motor preferably)
  • Insurance claims experience (preferred, but not essential)
  • Previous experience of working in a similar position (preferred)
  • Enjoys working with data and has strong computer literacy
  • The ability to effectively manage personal workload, prioritise effectively and deliver within agreed time limits

What will you get for this role?

  • Salary of up to £30,800 (depending on skills, experience, and qualifications).
  • Generous pension (starting level Aviva contributes 8% when you contribute 2%).
  • Eligibility for annual performance bonus.
  • Family friendly parental and carer’s leave.
  • 25 days holiday per year plus bank holidays and the option to buy/sell up to 5 additional days.
  • Up to 40% discount for Aviva products.
  • Brilliant flexible benefits including electric cars.
  • Aviva Matching Share Plan and Save As You Earn scheme.
  • 21 volunteering hours per year.
