Job Description 

 In 2017, SA established the School Management Office (SMO) to operationalize and execute various schooling functions in support of the day-to-day management of our network of schools and serve as an intermediary between the Network and our network of schools.

Representative services provided by the SMO includes the planning and management of school leadership deliverables that span people management, classroom management, instructional management and parental joy and investment, data reporting and analysis, communication and calendar management, and management of our school design and policies. 

Reporting to the Program Manager of School Design, the Associate will oversee K-12 school design and policy changes. Primary responsibilities will center around project managing, tracking and reporting of these changes, and shepherding them through a streamlined change management process.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage School Design Pipeline and Reporting: Manage monthly touch points with school design owners, to support successful design, approval, implementation and tracking of all changes to SA’s school design. 

  • Manage Policy Pipeline and Reporting: Manage quarterly review of SA’s core policies, to determine their effectiveness in meeting intended outcomes and to identify necessary revisions or new policy. 

  • Project Manage School Design and Policy Changes: Directly manage certain school design and policy changes.

  • Manage Policy Content on Knowledge Base: Ensure policy content on the Knowledge Base is accurate and reflects current school design, and that policies are organized in a manner that allows for easy navigation by schools.

A successful applicant will have the following experiences and education: 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree 

  • 2-3 years of project management experience
