Job summary:
Advise in the livestock sector, business, entrepreneurship and related products and services for a sustainable entrepreneurship project. The objective of the project is to promote the development of micro and small businesses by increasing their productivity, strengthening their processes, improving their efficiency and strengthening their commercial ties, promoting a solid market system in the area in which the project is developed.
Main functions and responsibilities:
Advice to beneficiaries Livestock farmers and related products and services (specialist in goats)
Establish and strengthen micro-businesses mainly livestock and products and services.
Develop strategic tools that contribute to strengthening knowledge and improving
company performance and growth.
Compile baseline information and monthly indicators of the beneficiary companies or others
necessary to facilitate the monitoring and evaluation of the Program.
Provide training and/or group workshops. Including preparation of material and presentations for their
development, based on dynamic materials.
Submit a progress report with each of the assisted companies at the end of each month.
Write reports, take pictures and progress reports as requested by the coordinator.
Ensure compliance with the execution time of the work plan.
Additional responsibilities as needed.
Basic qualifications:
Degree in Veterinary Medicine, Agribusiness, Zootechnical Agricultural Engineer, Economics or
related fields.
At least 3 years of professional experience in consulting for goats and/or cattle, especially dual purpose.
Indispensable skills, abilities and knowledge in the areas of animal nutrition, clinical and reproduction.
Knowledge of the market, business skills, administration and business development.
Commitment to the socioeconomic impact of producers.
Knowledge and experience with access to markets, from business sectors such as: agribusiness,
housing, health.
Live in Zacatecas, Coahuila, Durango, Chihuahua.
Desired Qualifications:
Availability to work Monday through Friday (full time).
Training of small producers.
Experience in preparing and presenting results reports.
Capacity for teamwork.
Required Languages: Spanish / Dialects (preferred).
