The XPS SW & Ecosystem Strategist will be responsible for driving our strategic efforts to build amazing software and ecosystem experiences for our customers.  He/she will define our software strategy and ecosystem roadmap while working with internal and external stakeholders to deliver solutions that complements our core offerings.  Having a deep understanding of our customers’ needs and expert knowledge of the competitive market dynamics will be critical to success in this role.

As the SW & Ecosystem Strategist, you will focus on:

Marketing Analysis, Competitive Research, and Customer Insights

• Deeply study the software and ecosystem experiences of key competitors, understand what differentiates XPS, and use insights and data to develop a comprehensive solution offering that is differentiated and aligns to our brand tenets
• Using our key customer segments, define the critical technology needed to deliver winning software and ecosystem solutions for them

Design and Product Innovation

• Engage closely with our CTO, engineering, and software teams to identify new technologies, architectures, and experiences that can be built into our ecosystem roadmap
• Lead efforts to incubate and experiment with breakthrough experiences that eventually make their way into our ecosystem roadmap and into our customers’ software experience
• Provide direction and guidance to extended support teams that are responsible for developing software experiences that integrate into our product portfolio

Product Execution

• Guide the product development core team as your programs move through the product development lifecycle to ensure that the offering aligns to the intended strategic and business goals
• Take a multi-disciplinary approach to championing our product strategy by having strong relationships spanning product development, marketing, sales, and other important partners
• Build strong relationships with external partners, vendors, and stakeholders who will be required to deliver our comprehensive roadmap

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Product Marketing, Product Management, or Business-related fields

• Master’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field desired, but not necessary

• 5+ years of relevant experience in the technology sector

• Passionate about creating and delivering delightful experiences and making our customers happy

• Highly motivated and entrepreneurial individual that thrives in challenging environments filled with ambiguity

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

• Analytical mindset; comfortable aggregating large sets of data and deriving key insights

• Ability to influence and lead cross-functional, collaborative teams as a change agent

• Execution rigor that demonstrates results-oriented nature and ability to deliver on commitments
