Position Summary

The Medical Capabilities organization provides medical communications that enable the Healthcare community to advance the science, accelerate access, shape medical practice, and drive appropriate adoption of BMS medicines. 

Description: Seeking a highly motivated communications professional to join the Medical Capabilities, Markets organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for the creation and illustration of our BMS Medical Capabilities, Markets communication platform imagining.  This includes the ability to create and carry this work through to our communication materials, including formal presentations, Share Point sites, Newsletters, and other Communication vehicles. This work supports the Markets value proposition will be our unique identifier.  The candidate will be responsible for the collection and collation of input from various global cross-matrix stakeholders on the value, as well as the documenting and illustration of the value into the appropriate formats for communication across the organization.  These creative outputs will need to highlight the benefits of the Market organization, a description of what makes these benefits valuable, how the Markets organization addresses a gap, and how we differentiate ourselves as the preferred provider of this value.

We are seeking a candidate who embodies a creative approach, a strategic mindset, who is a strong communicator and is well versed in developing and illustrating communication platforms. Candidates must have strong written and oral communication skills and be able to think analytically and strategically in a collaborative, collegial environment.  The incumbent will be detail-oriented and results focused in a fast-paced environment

Key Responsibilities

• Strong creative ability in support of illustrating visually.  Ensure consistent messaging through all communication vehicles. Supporting continuity of data and materials.
• Work closely with the WW SC & MC team as you develop upon the existing Communication platform, defining and communicating the value of the Medical Capabilities (Markets) organization.
• Work with management to activate employees as advocates to the story.

Qualifications & Experience

• Strong creative aptitude with the ability to implement business and scientific expertise into a visual platform.  Experience in a communications, graphic design, public affairs, or journalism. 
• Excellent business writing skills, both written and verbal are required. Experience in working with matrix teams or a matrix environment is desirable. 
• Proficient in communication platforms like Share Point, Websites, Presentations, or the like.
• Time and priority management and excellent attention to detail, ability to be innovative and articulate ideas.
• Ability to work independently and effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
