Core Responsibilities
As our Hire to Retire Product Director you will be responsible for the ‘Hire to Retire’ and Platform product set that includes master data, Hire2Retire, Contract Management, Compensation, etc. including the core Workday platform. In this newly created and strategic specialist role you will interact with multiple internal and external partners from engineers to VP level HR and business leaders, to drive product strategy, roadmap, and execution. In addition, you will:
• Set a results-oriented and clear product vision and communicate it effectively to your internal partners
• Drive end-to-end team output strategy from inception to production
• Ensure digital vision and products align within team strategy and requirements by collaborating with relevant partners
• Work closely within their team to translate business objectives and user feedback and insight into outcomes that deliver value for both
• Share regular tracking of product-specific critical metrics with partners
• Translate user needs into user stories and acceptance criteria by utilizing market and industry knowledge
• Plan product development out into future by e.g., maintaining a backlog 3 to 4 sprints ahead of the team
• Integrate usability studies and research into product requirements to improve user satisfaction and ensure customer-driven design
• Continuously optimize the product in pursuit of achieving the outcomes as defined.

You will provide strong and enthusiastic direction to the ‘Hire to Retire’ and Platform product team, collaborating closely with engineering and design teams to craft solutions that are desirable, viable and feasible. You get closely connected with internal partners to ensure alignment on Product Vision, Strategy and Outcomes.
Do you have what it takes?
You hold a bachelor’s degree in economics, business administration/ management, project management or a related field. Further, you bring a proven agile experience working in the field of HR/People processes and technology - specifically from Workday. Moreover, you bring:
• Experience forming and running product teams and leading multi-functional teams through the full digital product life cycle
• Knowledge of HR Technology vendors, industry, and market trends
• Strong partner and change management skills
• Solid communication skills: ability to clearly articulate the problem and proposed solution
• Ability to build compelling product strategy & visions, goal setting and value propositions
• Product Discovery techniques: identify the risks and address up front, focus on outcome, ideation, experimentation etc.
• Advanced English language skills verbally and in writing
