The Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) team at Bloomberg is staffed by Software Engineers who support both Workday and PeopleSoft.  In Workday, which is our primary HCM system, the ERP team supports hundreds of custom integrations, as well as BIRT reports and Extend apps.  In PeopleSoft, which is used primarily for North American and Global Payroll, the team supports numerous integrations, employee self-service apps, and other custom functionality.   We work with a broad range of technologies and are often called on to push the bounds of what these complex systems can do out of the box.

The ideal candidate is a Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience building applications and integrations for both Workday and PeopleSoft HCM systems.  Candidates must have strong technical skills, application knowledge, and business experience in the HCM/Payroll space.  Candidates must be able to partner with internal customers in various departments and have a desire to learn new technologies.  Strong communication skills, problem solving, team work, multitasking, time management, initiative, flexibility, and a whatever-it-takes attitude are musts.

Required Workday Skills:

•  5 years experience with Workday HCM
•  Must be skilled with the following technologies:
•  Studio
•  Report Writer, Calc Fields
•  EIB, RaaS, DTS, Connectors
•  XSLT
•  Report Designer (BIRT)
•  Other experience strongly preferred:
•  Extend, IntelliJ, PMD Scripting, JSON

Required PeopleSoft Skills:

•  5 years experience with PeopleSoft HCM and PeopleTools
•  North America and Global Payroll
•  Must be skilled with the following technologies:
•  Application Engine, Component Interface, Peoplecode
•  Application Designer
•  Integration Broker, Web services
•  Oracle SQL
•  SQR
• Other experience strongly preferred:
•  BI Publisher
•  Fluid
•  Peoplesoft system and database administration
•  Unix/Linux shell scripting

Other skills that are nice to have:

•  Python
•  JavaScript
