Job Description 
This position will work as a part of a remote team and is primarily responsible for Windows Server infrastructure administration and engineering. The role will also provide Tier 3 support for Windows Server Platforms, 3rd party IIS web-based applications, and Enteprise core services

Key Responsibilities

  • Work independently and as part of a team managing critical core Microsoft on-premise services, including System Center Services (ECM/SCCM, SCOM) and 1E platforms
  • Administer and troubleshoot Windows Servers (2012/2016/2019/2022)
  • Identify potential operational processes that may be automatable through PowerShell, ECM/SCCM, and other means and implement automation
  • Provide Tier 3 support for Enterprise Core services; Active Directory, LDAP DNS, DHCP, Certificate Services/PKI

 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years Windows Server Administration (Windows Server 2012 and newer) in an Enterprise environment
  • 3+ years Enterprise experience in administering and troubleshooting infrastructure for one or more of the following platforms: Microsoft IIS, Microsoft ECM/SCCM, Microsoft SCOM
  • 3+ years of automation and scripting using PowerShell
  • Organized, self-motivated with the ability to work in a team
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate complex topics to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies

Nice to have 

  • Relevant industry certifications
  • HTML/CSHTML support/experience
  • Familiarity with network trace tools (NetMon, Microsoft Message Analyzer, Wireshark, etc.)
  • Windows lifecycle maintenance tasks, including road-mapping of services
  • Experience with Azure Active Directory and Intune
