The Pet Web Merchandiser is responsible for the development, implementation, and optimization of digital campaigns passionate about driving conversion, findability, and frictionless engagement across our digital pet consumer ecosystem.
Tactical responsibilities will include but are not limited to: traffic optimization, site taxonomy, attribution management, click flow navigation, A/B testing, cross-sell/upsell strategies, and monitoring and reporting of quant and Qual web behavioral data. Working together with cross functional partners, this role will be integral to leading the execution of strategic campaigns crafted to accelerate brand awareness and industry leading loyalty.
The Ideal candidate will have a strong data and analytics background, in order to derive practical insights that will lead to strategic development. They should have a firm grasp of Google Analytics, Content Management Systems (CMS), Product Information Management (PIM), Digital Asset Management (DAM), UX/CX design principles, and basic HTML, CSS, and Javascript experience.
NOTE: This job is remote and can sit anywhere within the US.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Site Merchandising
- Continuous execution of A/B testing to support various campaign objectives, overall health and accuracy of site content, and collision testing for broken site experiences across our consumer properties.
- Site usability improvements to increase conversion and improve the overall customer journey experience.
Web Analytics and Reporting
- Analytics and reporting of site engagement metrics and campaign performance for insights development.
Strategic Development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve how to continuously optimize digital engagement experiences through utilization of UX and CX design principles.
Technology and Process Improvement
- Identify and implement new tools to ensure outstanding resources that will allow for rapid execution, data and insights mining.
Education/ Experience Requirements Education:
Basic qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, statistics, computer science, finance or other fields.
- At least 4-5 years of front end development or analytics experience.
- At least 1-2 years of previous e-Commerce or merchandising experience.

- Data mining and analysis experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work optimally with different people in engineering, marketing and creative fields
- Understanding of UX / CX principles
- Strong analytical skills; able to extract insights from large datasets and generate accurate reports for making effective business decisions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present and explain insights
- Ability to work across multiple stakeholders leading and improving workflows
- Intermediate level (or greater) Excel / Sheets (including comfort with pivot tables & VLOOKUP) & Google slides (slide design principles, animations)
- Highly motivated self-starter with shown ability to work independently with little supervision on projects, but produce phenomenal results.
- HTML experience with AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) or similar CMS (Content Management System), major web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Salesforce), reporting and researching.
- Creative decision testing and recommendations for marketing campaigning.
