Frasers Group are currently looking for a Web Development Team Lead to join us at our Head Office in Shirebrook as part of our enthusiastic, motivated, and delivery focused agile team. Our platform runs over 50 websites - including some of the biggest names in Retail. We are an exciting and innovative company, and our Elevation strategy is enabling growth in difficult times. We process millions of pounds worth of transactions every day and will soon be a billion pound a year web business.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Working on all aspects of our state-of-the-art, in-house developed, ecommerce platform. 
• Providing innovative and reliable websites, mobile applications, and platform tools that enable best-in-class Digital Marketing, Trading, UX, Payments, and Fulfilment
• Developing across the full-stack, and a range of exciting technologies
• Hands-on coding and delivering large scale development projects with your team
• Managing and building your development team
• Ensuring your team delivers their projects on-time
• Improving the software development process using the latest technologies
• Regularly liaising with business stakeholders and senior leaders
• Defining technical solutions and requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

• C# / ASP.Net Core MVC / .Net Core
• Javascript
• HTML 5 / CSS
• Relational and NoSQL databases
• Familiar with cloud technologies, cloud hosting, containerisation and orchestration. Our ecommerce platform runs in Azure and in our own private cloud
• Experience of the full software development lifecycle, along with an appreciation of quality assurance, continuous integration/delivery, and the benefits of automation
• Proven track record of design, development, and testing, of fast, scalable, and architecturally robust solutions.
• Committed to staying up to date with the latest technology and industry trends, continuously looking for ways to apply them for our benefit. 

Desirable Skills:

• Javascript Frameworks: React / Angular / React Native / jQuery
• Git or similar version control system
• RESTful Services
• Elasticsearch
• Redis
• Apache Kafka / Azure ESB
• Event-based architecture and design patterns
