Global Information Technology’s Global Application and America’s Marketing group invite applicants for the position of Web Analytics Developer. This role will support our 1st party data strategy within our Marketing group by generating, storing, reporting and analyzing web traffic for insights.
Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
Support online externally facing web properties through analytics reporting;
Work closely with the web optimization team and business stakeholders for analytics tag requirements gathering;
Partner with development teams to ensure analytics tagging and implementation standards are followed, including development of data layer strategies;
Act as an internal expert on Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics capabilities and site tagging, staying up to date on latest capabilities;
Implement tags using Google Tag Manager, ability to write Javascript code when necessary;
Assist with QA effort of all tagging throughout the site, ensuring tags are firing correctly, respecting user consent;
Implement/improve and document website tagging process;
Perform tagging audits/data integrity checks on a regular basis;
Assist with analysis and reporting on effectiveness of new site feature launches;
Ensure consistent tracking, analysis and reporting of core website KPIs in various weekly and monthly Dashboard formats (page views, clicks, conversion, etc.);
Provide input to process for continual improvements based on analytics data;
Prepare critical data for feedback to Creative, Planning, and Marketing teams to inform their respective business practices;
Support analysis and reporting on A/B testing efforts;
Handle ad hoc data requests from numerous stakeholders;
Troubleshoot issues with data cleanliness, data feeds, and other Google outputs
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field or equivalent relevant experience;
Expert knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager;
3+ years of web analytics experience with digital marketing and application (customer-facing portals) environment required;
3+ years of experience with web analytics process design, implementation and documentation management experience;
Fundamental knowledge of Google Campaign Manager;
Proven experience implementing and managing tagging across an enterprise-level site;
Ability to discover, analyze and clearly communicate data insights for action
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in web development with skills in JavaScript, HTML and JQuery;
2 years experience of Javascript or Google Apps script experience;
1-2 years experience working with AEM (Adobe Experience Manager);
1-2 years SAS/SQL experience
