This is a remote position within the geography of Truist.

The Wealth Brokerage Onboarding and Transition Specialist will report to the Brokerage Onboarding and Transition Manager and is responsible on-site execution of an onboarding event to maximize the profitability of the Firm’s investment in a newly-recruited Financial Advisor or team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Following is a summary of the essential functions for the position.  Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which may not be mentioned below.  Specific activities may change from time to time due to various onboarding needs.  

1. Office set up (computers, monitors, adding supplies, etc.)  Training on Truist Systems.

2. Preparing client onboarding packages, opening accounts, processing paperwork and account follow up.

3. Ordering supplies, preparing advisor onboarding guides, marketing mailings, back office liaison, helping to prepare for client meetings when onsite with the advisors

4. Remote onboarding support and onboarding troubleshooting if necessary.  This may include working with other firms.

5. Provides onsite support during transitions. (2-4 weeks at a time, including nights and weekends)

6. 30, 60, 90 day check-ins with new advisor or team and address any additional training needs.

7. Help develop and maintain training materials that will assist Financial Advisors and Client Service Associates during and after their transition.

8. Help develop and deliver ad hoc trainings for systems and procedures as needed for Wealth Brokerage

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and abilities required for the position.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

1. Bachelor\'s degree, or equivalent education and related training.

2. Five years of broker/dealer or financial services industry experience. 

3. FINRA SIE, 7, 66, examinations (or ability to obtain with 12 months)

4. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational skills.

5. Strong verbal and written communication skills.

6. Must be able to prioritize tasks, reprioritize tasks and work well under intense pressure.

7. Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Office Products; knowledge of brokerage systems would be a plus.

8. Ability to do extensive travel, 2-4 weeks at a time, including weekends

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Advanced degree (or some schooling) in business, law or accounting (including Graduate, Banking, or Trust).

2. Other professional designations.
