Warehouse Technician (Days) – Quincy, IL
ADM Animal Nutrition
This is an hourly position.
 
Position Summary:
The Warehouse Technician is responsible for the following duties:

  • Receive, move, store and inventory products and materials.
  • Load all shipments per their pre-printed order form and/or verified CWP paperwork ensuring the proper items and quantities are loaded.
  • Issue new product lots.
  • Verify counts to support inventory transactions and lot verification.
  • Maintain dock area and warehouse in an organized and clean working condition.
  • Be able to immediately identify problems (i.e. material shortage, quality issue, facility issue, etc.) and communicate said issues to the Plant Manager.
  • Identify and communicate food safety and/or product integrity issues to appropriate personnel.
  • Work in the most effective, efficient, and safe manner at all times.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by management.

 

 

Job Requirements:

  • Promotes the ADM Way and Core Values
  • High school diploma or equivalent with prior warehouse experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
  • Demonstrated experience utilizing a forklift in a safe and effective manner
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work effectively as a team member
  • Exceptional attendance and work ethic
  • Exhibit flexibility, reliability and a mutual respect for fellow employees
  • Strong safety and math aptitude
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time, and lift up to 50 lbs. above head without difficulty on a routine basis
  • Ability to withstand dust and noise
