Job Description

 responsibilities Transactions carried out are critical to ensure accuracy all the times of stock entries and matching with physical stock. Perform all required transactions of D-MERP. Ensures effective utilization cGMP of warehouse areas and proper loading, unloading, stocking and safekeeping of items to maintain the quality of Raw Material to prevent product damage and avoid occurrence. Ensure Temperature is maintained throughout the route till reaches to desired destination. Supervises RM warehouse, receiving and issuance operations and team. Arrange QA sampling of incoming material. Safe handling of control substances. Recommend changes in workflow, operations and equipment to maximize efficiency of work. Ensure proper recording and archiving of all RM warehouse documents. Ensuring that area is always ready for visits & audits. Ensure safe operation of machine/equipment and in accordance with instructions as per EHS requirements. Maintains storage area by organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles. Moves inventory by scheduling materials to be moved to and from warehouse; coordinating inventory transfers with related departments. Maintains inventory by conducting cycle count monthly physical counts; reconciling variances; inputting data. (Identifies and corrects inefficiencies in work processes and operator performances that contribute to errors in inventory, receiving/issuance management and product losses (e.g. shrink, reconciliations).

 Maintain all SOPs related to the RM warehouse functions. Responsible for follow-up and implementation of all deviations and CAPAs. Participate in all internal audit inspections as well as other health authorities audit and inspection as a subject matter expert. Supervises receiving and issuance operations and their teams. Identifies and corrects inefficiencies in work processes and operator performances that contribute to errors in inventory, shipping/receiving management and product losses (e.g. shrink, reconciliations) Any other responsibility assigned from time to time as per business requirements. 

Comply and ensure compliance to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), Quality and other related policies, guidelines and requirements as applicable by law and GSK Corporate Guidelines. Comply and ensure compliance to Environment, Health and Safety policies, guidelines and requirements as applicable by law and GSK Corporate Guidelines. 

Any other responsibility assigned from time to time as per business requirements. Requirements This role requires and understanding / knowledge of warehousing operations tools and techniques to efficiently execute the tasks. 1-2 years, experience of warehousing in Pharmaceutical Industry. Activities connected with the preparation of medicines for a patient with the use of medicines as well as on general health and lifestyle matters. 

Intermediate knowledge of Good Warehouse Practices & Inventory Management.
