Job Description
Responsibilities and tasks include:
- Ensure the reception of materials; control the goods (obsolete, damaged, preemption date, etc.)
- Verify the delivery receipt and control it with the related Purchase order.
- Register all needed information in the PeopleSoft database (lot number, expiration date, quantity delivery date reception with PO number etc) on a daily basis.
- Ensure that the received material is distributed rapidly to the appropriate storage area or department.
- Ensure stock level (minimum required) and advise the stakeholders to optimize it when needed.
- Store the received materials in the warehouse in the appropriate location.
- Ensure security and healthy environment are respected according to the internal rules.
- Optimize the availability of the space within the warehouse.
- Prepare and deliver the orders placed by the internal departments (MSR).
- Follow the standard operating procedure.
- Support the stockholders to supply the material needed for the testing.
- Interact with the Sourcing and Procurement departments to ensure an optimal supply chain.
- If needed, help other departments (i.e. Procurement operations, destruction of cartons, boxes etc)
Experience/Qualifications:
- CFC magasinier or equivalent (ideally).
- Good knowledge of English
- Computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft office tools (outlook, Excel).
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize workload and deadlines.
- Minimum of 2-year experience in warehousing and/or supply chain activities.
- Knowledge of inventory management system (Peoplesoft or equivalent).
