The Role
As a VP of Publisher Development at PurpleAds, you’ll leverage your industry contacts and identify new prospects to establish, lead, and deliver on a significant number of revenue-generating partnerships with publishers. You will be a critical component of the PurpleAds team and success.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for growing our portfolio of publishers by identifying new business opportunities, prospecting, selling and closing long-term partnerships.• Identify, contact, track, negotiate, sign and close new partnerships with publishers in order to grow revenue possibilities.• Proactively identify mid-tier, premium publishers and relentlessly present the PurpleAds pitch in a compelling way.• Managing the pipeline to ensure that you’re achieving sales and revenue targets and growing the business.• Close high-value deals.• Work closely and communicate regularly with your supervisor on active deals and challenges.• Collaborate with senior management to close deals.• Manage our relationship with demand partners.
Qualifications
• The ideal candidate has a strong and proven track record of sales and/or business development management and strategizing around business solutions for publishers.• Possess knowledge of the digital media space and an entrepreneurial mindset.• Effective presentation and communications skills.• Ability to work independently.• The mindset of a Hunter; you drive change and you’re self-motivated.• Excellent organizational and analytical skills• Leadership mindset, self-driven and with strong team spirit• Customer and result-oriented• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including strong presentation skills• Fluency in English is mandatory.
