Working alongside the Senior Volunteering & Community Officer to help make Kedleston a great place to volunteer or be involved with.
Hours: 30 hour per week, flexibility around how these hours are worked across 7 days, to be discussed with the successful candidate. Some weekend and bank holiday working will be required.
As part of Kedleston’s Volunteering & Community team, you’ll work alongside the wider Kedleston team of 40+ staff and 350+ volunteers. It’s an exciting time to join the team as we explore the potential to grow visitor numbers, develop our visitor and volunteer offers, and build and strengthen links with the communities that live in and around the property. There are opportunities to learn and develop, including online and face to face training, and you’ll be well supported at every step of the way, both by the property team and the wider V&C network in the region.
As volunteering and community run across all that we do at Kedleston, you’ll be working with every team at property to ensure Kedleston is a great place to volunteer or be involved with. With the Senior Volunteering & Community Officer, you’ll help shape and deliver the property ambitions in these areas, growing support for our work and ensuring everyone feels welcome. You’ll support the daily organisation of volunteering, making sure staff and volunteers feel confident and capable to use our self-service processes, becoming an expert user of our systems. You’ll be involved in every stage of the volunteer journey, from recruitment and induction through to reward and recognition, and be responsible for compiling team communications, sharing the work that’s happening across the property to keep the team engaged and informed.
To deliver this role successfully, you'll need to:
