Job Description:

Driving success as a Tutor with Capita Learning;

Due to an exciting development Capita Learning are looking to significantly expand their team of Tutors. With this role you would be delivering a comprehensive and industry leading range of health care courses to a diverse group of learners.

Paid on a course by course basis these roles offer flexibility in terms of hours allowing for Tutors to undertake work in a manner that is suitable for them

What you will be doing:

• Delivering a wide variety of courses from healthcare to customer management and IT User Skills

• Delivering courses virtually to a wide range of candidates

• Inspiring learners to realise their potential and providing feedback throughout their online learning journey

What we are looking for:

• It would be beneficial but not essential if you hold or are working towards a recognised teaching qualification (e.g. A1, V1, PTLLS, PGCE, Certificate in Further Education or equivalents).

• Excellent written and communication skills

• The confidence to make clear and accurate assessment decisions independently

• Experience in providing extra support where gaps in learner knowledge are identified

• Proven computer skills, as this element is a large factor with online tutoring

• The ability to mark students’ assessments in line with awarding body guidelines
