Proactively identifies, engages, and deepens mass affluent clients at Truist in a given market. Guides clients through unique goal-based financial planning conversations. Leads with holistic advice when recommending personalized Premier solutions. Partners with Premier Advisors to deliver a team support model for mass affluent clients. Primarily connected with Retail Deposits, Retail lending, mortgage, insurance, and investments partners.

Requires Series 6, 63/65 or 66 at the time of hire

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job.  Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below.  Specific activities may change from time to time.
1.    Proactively engage mass affluent clients from a virtual setting.  Primarily source clients utilizing outbound calling lead campaigns and referrals from branch, mortgage, and contact centers.  Independently identify mass affluent clients that could benefit from Premier’s value proposition. Deliver a level of personalized, attentive service that clients deem outstanding.
2.    Reactively engage clients through dedicated support lines for clients while identifying financial needs for mass affluent clients.  Serve as lead teammate to deliver segment specific solutions and right channel clients appropriately based on complexity level of the client and the types of advisory services needed. 
3.    Deliver goal-based financial advice to mass affluent clients using independent judgement and planning expertise.  Lead implementation of financial planning/goals-based conversations with appropriate Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) partners.
4.    Acts as the primary pathway for IRM partner referrals where mass affluent clients have expressed needs.  Drive a high velocity of outbound IRM referrals to key partners (Commercial, Truist Life, Mortgage, Investments, etc.) as a result of client interactions and planning conversations.  
5.    Meet new business growth, profitability and retention goals by supporting the development and deepening of new clients. Retain relationships by delivering customized advice and comprehensive Premier banking solutions that meet the clients’ goals and objectives.  Participate in the sales management process, which includes, but is not limited to, the delivery of excellent client service behaviors, support of the Truist segmentation models, full use of the Premier sales process, and support of referral processes and guidelines. 
6.    Monitor, maintain and update sales activity, pipeline and other pertinent information using the bank’s contact management system.
7.    Keep abreast of changing economic, legal, investment trends and general market and business issues impacting mass affluent clients. 
8.    Work within existing audit, compliance and regulatory framework in order to ensure a high quality, compliant portfolio of client relationships.
9.    Participate in the ongoing implementation and development of the Premier program, including processes, products, services and operating policies and procedures.
10.    Manage functional responsibilities associated with Premier program as directed.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1.    Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in business, accounting, finance, banking or equivalent financial services experience and related training.
2.    Advanced knowledge of traditional retail bank products, financial planning/advisory/insurance, and investment management/asset allocation concepts
3.    A minimum of Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), FINRA Series 6 & 65 and applicable Insurance licenses (Life, Health, and Variable) must be active and maintained, or must be obtained within 100-150 days of job entry date.  Active FINRA licenses must be transferred within 60 days of job entry date.  Must be SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliant with 30 days of employment in this role, including new or transfer of registration, and applicable NMLS acceptable background check
4.    Strong interpersonal, sales and relationship management skills
5.    Strong written, verbal and presentation skills including demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office software products

Preferred Qualifications:
1.    Minimum of four years of experience working with mass affluent clients dealing with banking, investments, financial planning, or lending
2.    Minimum of four years of retail lending experience
3.    Minimum of four years of experience working with clients from a virtual setting or in call center environment
4.    Completion of established management or career development program or banking school
