The Video Editor should assemble recorded footage into a finished project.

The edited video should convey the idea or story planned for digital marketing / product promotion.

As a Video Editor, you should bring visual & sound together to tell the story / brand promotion.

You will work with Digital Marketing team & support them in video shooting / editing.

Manipulate & edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience.

Understand the idea / need of the digital marketing team & act accordingly.

Review shooting script & raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes value & manage continuity.

Trim footage segments & put together the sequence of the film.

Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects.

Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running.

Consult with digital marketing team from production to post-production process.

Use new editing technologies & industrys best practices to maximize efficiency.

Skills Required:

Proven work experience as a Video Editor.

Solid exp with digital technology / editing software packages (e.g. Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects / Final Cut).

Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio.

Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity.

Familiarity with special effects, 3D & compositing.

Creative mind & storytelling skills.
