The Role

This is an opportunity for a highly motivated Data Analytics Architect(G8) to join the Group Architecture & Strategy COE within the Healthcare group, a diverse, open and associate-focused environment, where you will contribute to powering the next generation of Healthcare’s digital analytics offering through innovative solutions applying the latest cloud, and AI/ML technologies.

This person will drive business strategy through architecture and should thrive working with and leading a variety of technical teams to deliver on sophisticated initiatives. The ideal applicant will have a passion for delivering new product innovations, crafting engaging customer experiences, cultivating an engaging associate experience, and developing talent.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • In-depth knowledge of the digital eco-system, with a proven background in data architecture, data modeling, and analytics.
  • Dedicated to architecture, data, and engineering excellence with innovation approach.
  • Confirmed experience designing and deploying highly performant data models in a large enterprise.
  • Solid experience with multiple data modeling methodologies and techniques, including dimensional and data vault.
  • Demonstrable experience in Modern Data Architecture techniques and Cloud Data Technologies
  • Expertise in evaluating, prototyping, and recommending emerging data technologies to support the requirements of the business.
  • General awareness of machine learning models, analytics, statistical methods and how they power engaging experiences.
  • Enterprise-level experience working across technology, business, and operational functions.
  • Confirmed leadership experience in a reciprocal, team-based workplace, with a constant emphasis on learning, coaching, and encouraging others.
  • Collaborate with business partners to understand their requirements and corresponding needs providing end-to-end solutions that can turn large and sophisticated data sets into valuable insight and drive experiences.
  • Experience with encouraging Agile behaviors, reinforcing practices, conventions, and ceremonies, and supporting overall Squad performance and efficiency.
  • Strong presentation and influencing skills to integrate effectively and further grow our evolving culture to both technical and business collaborators.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to engage in open dialogue with both technical and non-technical partners.
  • Familiarity with healthcare claims & benefits data is preferred, especially in a population health context.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) is required.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership across the Healthcare group for data modeling efforts, including the design of data structures, data management methodologies, and data pipeline transformations.
  • Partner with data SMEs, data governance, architecture, and product owners to ensure that data meets the needs and conforms to governance and security standards.
  • Ensure the consistency, availability, understanding, and performance of data by following and actively contributing to the development of guidance and standards for data modeling.
  • Lead data model reviews with team members from across Healthcare Group.
  • Champion innovative technology solutions to resolve business problems, working across the organization find opportunities for strategic technology initiatives.
  • Excellent Teammate: Identify and drive improvement initiatives within the HCG Architecture CoE. Partner with peers to lead events that provide and outstanding associate experience.
  • Business Value: Collaborate with the team to meet incremental objectives and ensure strategy and execution are aligned.
  • Execution Minded: Adept at evaluating and balancing the need for speedy time to market with establishing a core foundation for the future. Can lead others through the decision-making process needed to assess the trade-offs and risks in building for both today and tomorrow.
  • Innovation: Innovative thinking and active participation in product design, exploring and conceptualizing future capabilities and offerings will enable our customers to be better healthcare consumers.
