The Role

As key members of the Managed Accounts Investment Solutions team we are responsible for partnering with distribution partners to develop, implement and support the diverse set of investment solutions offered by Strategic Advisers. We are fortunate to contribute to Fidelity’s rapidly growing advice business and capabilities with a focus on single asset class, multi-asset class, and multi-account solutions offered to retail investors.

Another important role is to act as liaison between Strategic Advisers investment professionals and key product, sales and service, communications, legal and compliance business partners. Effectively transforming our investment capabilities into clear and powerful value drivers for clients!

In this role you will be part of a diverse, collaborative, and adaptive team tasked with helping grow Fidelity’s advice solutions in the marketplace! Primary Responsibilities

The responsibilities within Strategic Advisers managed account offerings/capabilities will contribute to several exciting areas of the business.

Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Personal Investing (PI) multi-asset class advice solutions – Unified Managed Account (UMA) solutions, Unified Managed Household (UMH) solutions, and Digital/Robo solutions – which currently represent over one million accounts and greater than $500B in assets that are sold both via representatives and digitally

Lead development of various sustainable investing solutions (ESG) representing a new product suite for Strategic Advisers

Partner with Fidelity’s distribution channels to develop and cultivate a pipeline of new investment solution initiatives

Develop compelling business cases to help with prioritization while influencing to take action on new initiatives

Point-person for the on-going product management of the solutions including ongoing product support in the form of communications and positioning of investment process and methodology, as well as facilitation of client exceptions, reporting/analysis improvements, and ad hoc channel requests

Accountable for crafting and articulating UMA / UMH investment philosophy, process, resources, and results to internal partners liaising with product professionals across a variety of Strategic Advisers business partners to support product positioning, product marketing, and product development

Support distribution teams to answer complex client and prospect inquiries related to the investment methodology underpinning UMA / UMH

The Expertise You Have

Ten (10+) plus years of financial services experience, preferably in product management, product development or product strategy roles

Investment experience with multi-asset-class solutions including managed accounts

MBA or equivalent strongly preferred

CFA/CFP strongly preferred

The Skills You Bring

Interpersonal and Influencing skills required along with confirmed ability to successfully engage with all levels of management across multiple business units.

Communication Skills and the ability to clearly, concisely and persuasively present sophisticated proposals, issues and arguments, both in writing and verbally.

Analytical and Critical Thinking Skill required ensuring analyses are thoroughly vetted and sound

Project Management skills required to successfully drive projects across the company and run critical dependencies

Proactive identification of critical issues, potential resolution plans, and quick decisioning

Basic technology concepts and trading architectures for financial services / managed accounts

Please see below for the salary range for work locations in Colorado only:

$100,000 – $180,000

This position is eligible for incentive compensation or an annual bonus opportunity.
