The Team
You are responsible for leading the day-to-day management of strategy consulting projects. Our projects seek to solve Fidelity’s most critical business issues, and your role is highly valued by Fidelity’s business leaders to drive critical thinking forward. The project management and business partner relationship support that you provide to the team and our internal partners helps shape the future of Fidelity’s businesses.
Our Vice Presidents lead strategic projects critical to our business. These projects are typically staffed with three to six associates over a four to six month timeframe. As Vice President, you help scope the projects, lead and manage workstreams, and partner with Fidelity business leaders to drive successful outcomes.

The Expertise You Have
You must demonstrate interest or experience in the financial services industry. MBA degree or equivalent is preferred.
The position requires significant consulting experience with multiple years in the project manager role and experience counseling clients / partners, preferably with a top tier consulting firm. In addition, you must have outstanding analytical, communication, conceptual thinking, project management and problem-solving capabilities. You have both the flexibility and the skill to lead and contribute to teams.

You have experience with project and team management, specifically including strategy development, evaluation of new products and services, and business transformation
You can synthesize analysis and research into strategic insights and practical recommendations, including strategic analysis, financial analysis, operational analysis and primary/secondary research
You influence middle to senior management, through both personal interactions as well as the creation and delivery of presentations
You assess risk and operationalize findings – turning research into actions
You quantify challenges and requirements related to execution
You drive to decisions in complex environments with multiple partners
You are adept at leading multiple projects / initiatives at once
You build relationships with peers and executives in a variety of capacities
You have a desire to work with people development and mentoring
The Value You Deliver
Leading and delivering complex strategic, groundbreaking, and growth projects
Interacting with Fidelity associates at more senior levels, gathering data and input and helping build consensus with key partners
Directing various analyses, including market analysis, internal capability assessment, competitor intelligence, customer research, product assessment, and financial analysis/modeling
Leading the development of insights to build new strategies or products/services and developing recommendations for improving business processes, working closely with business unit personnel or potential alliance partners
Preparing and delivering presentations to senior executives
