Job Description:

VP of Community will be responsible for managing member relationships for the Forge Community. This person will work both with prospect, new and current members and family office organized groups to create an ecosystem of value that moves the family office industry forward.  

This role includes working with our advisory committees, external and internal partners, and the Forge team to increase the value of our community.  You will lead the Senior Project Manager of Programs and oversee the success of the Forge Community events and education program and our research program. 

The VP of Community will develop and execute strategic plans in creating opportunity and exposure for the Forge Community, building relationships within the family office industry, speaking engagement opportunities and potential partnerships to increase member growth and engagement.

The Forge Community is the largest single family office community run by and for its members.  Fidelity is the corporate sponsor for the Forge Community.  By engaging strategically with members and partners and by using the breadth of Fidelity Investments connection points, you will be responsible for growing membership and ensuring member satisfaction.

Demonstrated expertise creating an environment of connection, community, and collaboration amongst our membership and our partners

Results-oriented collaborator and leader with a passion for community.

A deep understanding of the family office industry, competitive landscape, and broader industry trends

Family office experience in operations, investments, and leadership is a plus

Project and event management experience a plus

Ability to understand and assess customers’ need, and support prioritization of team effort with collaboration from key partners

Skilled communicator with executive presence and comfort with public speaking

Passion for delivering an excellent customer experience and ability to connect all activities back to customer value

Demonstrated experience collaborating with an advisory board or committee to deliver programs

The Value You Deliver

Develop key strategic relationships with the principal decision makers with our member offices, member groups and valued partners.

Develop and manage a growth strategy for the Forge Community, including referrals from existing relationships.

Stay knowledgeable of changes and trends in the family office industry and competition from the findings from our platform, research, and industry connections, in order to inform and drive member satisfaction.

Lead the Membership Committee and Ambassador group, focusing on the development and success of program Initiatives, relationship and growth of our Forge Community.

Work with the Education & Events Committee and Research Committee focusing on strategy and the success of program initiatives and project plans that advance the community and community growth.

Document member and partner activities, business opportunities and all communications with clients in the CRM on a timely basis
