The Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Responsibilities:

•   Own and be responsible for end-to-end development of the projects/ programs assigned

•             Deliver high-quality software programs adhering to standards and be involved in design reviews, program specifications review

•             Collaborate with stakeholders and work closely with various technology groups & vendor organizations to be able to drive a standard framework for development processes

•             Deliver state-of-the-art solutions using new stack development using Java8/Agile/ DevOps/Micro services while keeping the show on the road for legacy technology stack

•             Regularly interact with business and operations partners globally.

•             Ensure the right team structure and organization is put in place for the new development unit ; Excellent track record in Team management.

•             Work across multiple development teams.

•             Partner and work closely with cross functional teams for brainstorming on best solution.

•             Be a lead from the front, get down and work with team also understand problem and bring it to closure.

•             Strong commitment to quality and efficiency.

Technical / Functional Proficiency:

•             Strong Technical background in JAVA / J2EE, Micro services applications; DevOps; Agile is critical for success in role

•             At senior leadership level, person should get to a closer view of problems and interaction with the teams

•             Experience in J2EE technologies such as JDK 1.8, Spring Framework. Should have hands-on development experience on Java & modernization technologies.

•             Good Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOPS

•             Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills

•             Proven experience managing staff and function transition between locations and time-zone preferred

•             Strong stakeholders management experience

•             Able to participate in architecture reviews, provide feedback and solutions

•             Technology Migration project exposure is a plus

•             Experience with Agile methodology

•             Proven experience in handling multiple teams and project management

Qualifications:

• 12-14 years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis role
• Extensive experience in system analysis and programming of software applications
• Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one area of Applications Development
• Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
• Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
• Master’s degree preferred

Nice to have:

• Good understanding and experience with a testing framework (​TDD, BDD,​ etc.)
• Good understanding of OpenShift.
• Ability to build and maintain continuous integration (​CI​) and continuous deployment/delivery (​CD​) systems for complex, distributed applications, using tools like ​Jenkins, TeamCity etc.
• Knowledge of image creation via docker and then deployment to cloud.
• Basic understanding of Tibco Business Works.
• Experience with Equities products development is a plus.
