A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our clinics in Medivet Kingsbury and Kenton.

This is a Mobile role working to a 4-day week within two lovely clinics with each team made up of a Lead Vet, Head Veterinary Nurse and SVN.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years small animal experience (UK or equivalent) confident working sole charge and in basic routine surgeries.

The role will see you working in different practice environments with our bustling 24-Hour Hospital on your doorstep, allowing you to gain exposure to varied surgeries and learn from a diverse team of veterinary professionals!

Salary, hours and benefits:

  • - £40,000 - £55,000 depending on experience
  • - Vehicle or £2500 allowance
  • - £1,500 CPD allowance with 3 days CPD leave
  • - VDS, RCVS, BVA fees paid
  • - 5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays
  • - 4-day week (09:00-19:00 / 39.37) with 1:3 half or 1:6 full weekends
  • - Improved Maternity and Paternity leave
  • - 5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays

We can offer relocation allowances should you move more than 40 miles from your current home address.

We can also support Certificates of Sponsorship for a Tier 2 (General) Visa if you meet the criteria and are eligible to register as a veterinary surgeon with the RCVS upon arrival in the UK.

Medivet Kingsbury and Medivet Kenton are situated in North London, just a short drive away from our 24-Hour Hendon Hospital.

Here, you will have access to state-of-the-art equipment; it houses an MRI/CT unit and so treats many interesting neurology, medicine, surgical and other cases. Plus endoscopy, arthroscopy, digital x-ray, ultrasound, multi-parameter monitors, in-house bloods.

Hendon manages all out of hour care for the region with a dedicated night team! And, the group is supported by it's own pet blood bank and laboratory.

Kenton also offer acupuncture as an alternative form of treatment.
