We are an established, friendly veterinary practice offering a high quality work environment for vets with branches in Ringwood, Ferndown and Verwood. We have a friendly and supportive team comprised of eight vets who are supported by a large team of nurses and receptionists.
Here at Cedar Vets we are looking for enthusiastic, team orientated Small Animal Vets to join our supportive team!
Up to £45k, supported and funded certificates, excellent benefits and bonus.
Cedar Vets is situated in the beautiful New Forest National Park with a wonderful coastline close by, and good links to London and Southampton. We have a wealth of experience within the team with 3 of our vet team currently studying towards certificates in cardiology, emergency and critical care and ophthalmology. We have a visiting Orthopaedic surgeon and Cardiologist for you to learn from. We have an excellent local reputation and we have achieved the ‘outstanding' RCVS award in client service at all 3 of our branches. Our main hospital is in Ringwood and branch surgeries in Verwood and Ferndown, which hold our team of vets who are supported by our experienced nursing team and receptionists, all of whom share our passion for the provision of high standards of veterinary care for our patients. These high standards are facilitated by generous variable length consultation times and dedicated time to work-up cases fully.
Working hours will be based on a 40 hours per week contract including our flexible 1:7 OOH rota shared by the vet team which allows us to proudly provide an emergency service for our own clients. Nights on call are largely undemanding and are followed by a day off the next day. Whilst this is full time position as a flexible employer, we are also happy to welcome applications for part time work and job share candidates!
The ideal candidate will have 3 years+ experience. If you are looking to study for a certificate, we would be very glad to support you. We would also welcome applications from vets who already have postgraduate qualifications with an interest in teaching and mentoring their less experienced colleagues and developing the practice in their particular area of expertise.
