As qualified MRCVS, you’ll already have good experience gained in small animal practice. You’ll be competent in clinical examination and surgery and confident working sole charge or as part of the wider team. You will also display good communication skills and the desire to share your knowledge and skills by being an outstanding, positive example to others.

Salary package up to £55,000 per annum (FTE)

Medivet Ashby is a large busy practice with 3 consult rooms, 1 double surgical theatre, dental suite, digital x-ray room, prep area, separate dog and cat isolation rooms, ultrasound, laparoscopic equipment and inhouse blood machines. We have fantastic clients and we are active within the local community.
Scunthorpe is a large town situated in North Lincolnshire just off the M180 and M18 motorways allowing easy transport links to the Lincolnshire Wolds, Hull, Doncaster, Lincoln and York. It is a bustling town with restaurants, cinema, shopping parks and many other activities.
For those who enjoy country air and long walk, Scunthorpe is a stone’s throw away from the rolling hills of the Lincolnshire Wolds which is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the highest land between Kent and Yorkshire. In the Wold there are many quaint market villages with plenty of independent shops and history to explore.
To the East there is the popular seaside resort of Cleethorpes with many traditional seaside restaurants and activities, the boating lake, The Jungle Zoo and Cleethorpes Light Railway.
