Veterinary Assistant

We are a nationwide veterinary group that provide veterinary services into the agricultural industry and are looking to recruit someone to work in our veterinary services team based at our premises in Metheringham. Lincoln.

The primary function of this role is to provide administration support to the vets operating from our Metheringham centre which will include working with other regional administrators. The role also includes collecting, processing and recording of clinical samples, carrying out various laboratory tests and providing assistance to the Senior Veterinary Administrator in data/clinical summaries. The role may include occasional visits to farms and therefore a full driving license is required.

Candidates should possess excellent data entry skills, attention to detail, and work well in a team. An agricultural background and experience in technical or laboratory work would be an advantage but is not essential.

This is a full time role (37.5 hours per week) working Monday to Friday 08.30am -5pm.
