The Vendor Portfolio and Renewals Coordinator is responsible for enabling the sales team to maximise renewal opportunities and proactively manage and improve processes and systems as part of the renewals process. They will also be responsible for the portfolio of unmanaged vendors, maintaining an optimum partner status to maximise commercials from sales activity for those vendors.

Job Description:

The Vendor Portfolio and Renewals Coordinator is responsible for enabling the sales team to maximise renewal opportunities and proactively manage and improve processes and systems as part of the renewals process. They will also be responsible for the portfolio of unmanaged vendors, maintaining an optimum partner status to maximise commercials from sales activity for those vendors.

The primary responsibilities of the VP & RC are:

  • Operational process ownership & improvement
  • Coordinate renewal pipeline to ensure the Sales teams are aware of upcoming opportunities
  • Data-recording, analysis and cleansing
  • Proactively pre-empting and identifying partner, customer & business opportunities
  • Proactively dealing with renewal queries
  • Sales enablement
  • Generating and utilising reports
  • Manage non strategic partner status and vendor program membership
  • Document and record Trustmarque partner status for unmanaged vendors
  • Update and maintain non-core vendor contact info

Responsibilities

The main responsibilities are detailed below, although the post holder would also be expected to perform any other duties which might reasonably be required by the business.

  • Coordinate process and system improvement efforts, develop requirements, support prioritisation efforts, and influence others to maximise productivity and process maturity
  • Collaborate to deliver faster time to market, enable increased revenue, and drive operational efficiencies while maintaining data quality
  • Developing the capability and enablement of the sales team through group sessions and face to face training
  • Review and analyse trends in operational issues, and implement appropriate process improvements
  • Identify operational gaps and risks and confirm that solutions or mitigation plans are captured and in place
  • Adhering to and monitoring of the 4-hour SLA and inbox management guidelines
  • Effectively manage late requests and/or escalations
  • initiate, communicate and follow up on renewal opportunities with account managers through to closure where applicable
  • Ensure all operational guides and Standard Operational Procedures (SOP) are maintained
  • Coordinate up-sell, cross selling and maximising of renewal opportunities
  • Maintain a database of non-core vendors with partner status and vendor contact information
  • Manage partner status and vendor membership program renewals to ensure continuity of program membership
  • Identify potential for improved partner commercials and make recommendations if commercially viable
  • Take ownership of delegated tasks set by your Manager within the time scales presented
