The Vendor Broker Manager indirectly leads and influences a dynamic team of strategic business partners that provide valuable product solutions and expertise to the customers we serve. This position helps drive market share growth and product brand positioning through data-driven, go-to market strategies. This role serves as the primary point of contact for the regional vendor/broker community and is responsible to develop, prioritize, and execute best in class partnership strategies that align with the company’s long range plan and divisional goals.

What you will do:
- Serve as the primary communication point for the region’s broker and supplier community.
- Drive planning and execution of key strategies and initiatives with internal teams and with the regional / local supplier and broker community in support of Regional Merchandising and Divisional goals and objectives.
- Lead the planning and execution of product training and development for the Customer Development Specialist (CDS), through collaboration with the Divisional Product Support Manager, Merchandising team, Customer Marketing Manager, Specialist teams, Divisional trainers, Home Office Training team, and supplier/broker partners.
- Plan and assists in the personal and professional development of Sales & Marketing stakeholders as it relates to product and supplier knowledge.
- Manage vendor and broker contacts and activity within the company’s CRM tool.
- Conduct Vendor / Broker business reviews to align mutual strategies and benchmark performance against partnership growth goals.
- Actively seeks feedback of internal teams relative to the satisfaction of broker engagement with internal / external customers
- Collaborate on the development, monitoring, and execution of local vendors’ and brokers’ marketing plans.
- Support the Divisional Sales & Marketing teams with product/vendor related information and strategies specific to the planning and execution of industry, sales and marketing events, divisional sales and marketing meetings, marketing campaigns, and food shows that align with the long range plan and divisional goals.
- Understands, requests, and analyzes pertinent reports in an effort to grow market share through the utilization of the vendor direct sales and broker networks.

Our ideal candidate will have...
- 5 years previous food service sales, marketing, or equivalent work experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred.
- Strong relationship building and influencing skills.
- The ability to travel regionally up to 50%.
